Spring Trisectors Meeting 2019
A Spring Trisectors Meeting will be held April 5-8, 2019 at the University of Georgia, in Athens, GA. This is the second workshop in a series that started with the Winter Trisectors Meeting of 2018.
The workshop will feature:
- A number of problem sessions
- Many break-out sessions
- An interspersed handful of short, expository talks
The focus of the workshop will be on the development of the theory of trisections and bridge trisections and its application to open problems in low-dimensional topology. The expectation is that participants will be familiar enough with the existing literature to participate effectively in the workshop.
There is limited funding available for graduate students. Anyone interested in participating in the workshop should register by filling out the following form. Inquiries can be directed to Jeffrey Meier.
The deadline to apply is February 1 . This workshop is partially funded by the NSF.
